Meet our director! 📣

Carl Lindberg is thrilled to be working on the Lawn for the first time. Previous Iowa Stage Theatre Company credits include performing in "Buried Child" and "The Glass Menagerie". Carl is a Professor and the Chair of the Theatre and Acting Programs at Des Moines Area Community College. Other acting credits include major regional stages in Chicago, such as Steppenwolf, Lookingglass, Remy Bumppo, Oak Park Festival Theatre, and others, and on camera work in regional commercials and films. Carl holds an MFA in Directing from Western Illinois University, a BA in Theatre with an emphasis in Acting from CSU Stanislaus, and has trained with Steppenwolf, Shakespeare & Company, and The Second City. Carl has worked on dozens of productions of Shakespeare's plays across the country as an adaptor, director, actor, and designer, and has studied and produced in Shakespeare's original practices.

After lots of quality control tests, our team can confidently say the ice cream flavors for this year are SUPERB💫 A small batch of ice cream is made each summer just for the event, so we recommend grabbing a cup before the show begins.

🍨 Shakesberry Chip: smooth raspberry and Chambord ice cream with dark chocolate stracciatella
☕ The Bawd's House Blend: freshly roasted ZANZIBAR coffee bean ice cream with dallops of Kahlúa infused fudge
🍓 Isabella's Conundrum: Madagascan vanilla bean ice cream swirled with ribbons of strawberry and rhubarb

Ice cream will be available at the concessions tent for a minimum $5 donation per cup.🍦
