We spent a couple hours exploring Bandon, Oregon. I was a bit concerned about the menu offerings when I saw the sign outside “Ice is food.” 😄 But their crab cakes were delicious.
We enjoyed the art exhibit by washedashore.org, using debris from the ocean. I saw a similarity to some glass art by Chihuly; the artist agreed that his art inspired some of her works. 😊

The Oregon Coast is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been! 💕
We enjoyed the beach, although perhaps not as much as the dog in the picture. He chased the waves for hours! 😄
We didn’t climb Humbug Mountain, so Nic climbed the cliff near the beach instead. (He looks very small in the middle of the picture of the cliff)

San Francisco! We got to meet up with Huzefah, a guest who stayed with our host Katie Sherborne in Houston.
SF also happens to be where and met - Umer is the one who connected Huzefah to the Host-A-Scholar network. 🙂
We barely got a taste of the City by the Bay; we hope to be back with international friends again soon!
