Welcome to Danceworks, where students receive quality dance education in a supportive and noncompetitive environment. The focus in all Danceworks classes is to teach appreciation and enjoyment of the art of dance while creating a positive experience for students. Director, Angelica Gonzalez holds an AFA in Dance from County College of Morris and a BFA in Dance from Montclair State University. She
has trained in various styles of dance such as ballet, tap, lyrical, hip hop and modern dance. Angelica is an adjunct faculty member at County College of Morris teaching both jazz and modern. Most recently, Angelica has completed Teachers Training School through Dance Masters of America. A veteran teacher and performer, Angelica is certified in basic life support and CPR. Angelica has been sharing her passion for the art of dance with the community for over a decade. Danceworks staff consists of professionally trained instructors who help students of all ages and abilities to discover their own potential through movement. Instructors attend professional workshops and teaching seminars throughout the year in order to stay current with the latest fitness technology and dance trends. Danceworks' facility has custom sprung flooring to protect a dancer's joints. There are viewing monitors in the waiting area for weekly class observance. Danceworks has an on-site defibrillator and key staff members are trained in CPR and lifesaving. All Danceworks instructors are degreed and/or certified in Dance Education.
