💗 Three songwriters. One beautiful room. A cause that hits close to home.

Our October WesternWish Showcase is a little different — and a whole lot more meaningful.

You may remember Meghan Clarisse Cave from a previous WesternWish showcase. She came to us with the idea of turning one of our songwriter rounds into a fundraiser for Sense of Security, a Colorado nonprofit providing financial assistance to breast cancer patients during treatment.

We said, “Let’s do it.” 💗

So we’re bringing Meghann back as our special guest host, alongside featured songwriters Meghann J & Carolyn Shulman for an evening of original music, stories, and giving back. Each artist has their own personal connection to breast cancer, and we’ll be sharing more about those stories leading up to the show.

🎁 We’re also looking for community sponsors!
Want to help make this fundraiser even bigger? We’re currently seeking raffle items, monetary donations, food & beverage donations, and other goods or services to help us raise as much as possible for Sense of Security. If you or a local business would like to contribute, send us a DM!

🎶 And about the venue… some of you have asked, what exactly IS Merritt Wellness?

Despite the name, it’s not a spa or wellness center, although you may feel quite well after visiting! It’s a beautiful early-1900s church that’s been converted into an event space, and our showcases take place in the original sanctuary. Think historic architecture, beautiful acoustics, and a seriously special listening-room atmosphere.
