🎨 Meet Kaitlyn Tucek ()

Kaitlyn Tucek is a multidisciplinary artist and educator based in Denver, Colorado. Her work spans painting, drawing, installation, and performance, often exploring themes of identity, memory, and the intersection of personal and collective histories. Tucek's art is characterized by its expressive mark-making, rich textures, and a blend of abstract and representational elements.

Born in Smithtown, Long Island, Tucek began her artistic journey at the age of 14, studying under illustrator Jeffrey K. Fisher at the Long Island Drawing School. She earned her BFA in Illustration from Pratt Institute in 2006 and later obtained her Master's degree from CUNY Queens College in 2013. Her early career included curatorial work at the Society of Illustrators and the Godwin-Ternbach Museum in New York City.

Since relocating to Denver in 2013, Tucek has become an active figure in the local art scene. Her work has been exhibited in various venues, including Leon Gallery, K Contemporary, and the Dairy Arts Center. Notable exhibitions include "Overlook" at Leon Gallery, where she delved into the narratives of overlooked female artists, and "Mise En Place" at K Contemporary, an immersive event blending visual, performing, and culinary arts.

Tucek's commitment to community engagement is evident through her roles as an educator at the Clyfford Still Museum and Arapahoe Community College. She has also led workshops at Meow Wolf Denver, guiding participants in creating unique drawing tools.

Her contributions to the arts have been recognized by various publications; she was honored as part of Westword's "100 Colorado Creatives" and named one of Denver’s top 5 artists to watch and collect by 5280 Magazine.

🎨 Meet Katie Taft!

Katie Taft is a Denver-based artist, photographer, and educator whose multidisciplinary work explores the intersections of imagination, identity, and community. Best known for her "Imaginary Friends" series, Taft sculpts hybrid creatures that merge human and animal characteristics, imbuing them with distinct personalities and emotions. These creations are then photographed in various settings, creating narratives that delve into themes of vulnerability, resilience, and the human experience.

A Colorado native, Taft earned her BFA in Photography from Marylhurst University in Oregon. Her work has been showcased in numerous exhibitions across the United States, including solo shows like "Friendzilla" at PlatteForum in Denver and "Friends of Mine" at Cruz Gallery in Santa Fe. In recognition of her innovative approach to art, she was awarded the Denver Westword MasterMind Award in 2006.

Beyond her artistic practice, Taft is deeply committed to arts education and community engagement. She has taught in Denver Public Schools and collaborated with organizations such as DAVA, Think 360 Arts, and the Colorado Photographic Arts Center. Currently, she serves as the Education Manager at Center for Visual Art, MSU Denver, where she leads programs like the Art + Action Lab, mentoring high school students interested in creative careers.

Sinclair's visual art encompasses painting, drawing, and collage. In addition to his artistic practice, Sinclair is the founder of Airloom Design, a consultancy specializing in UX strategy and design and Cameo Collective, a UX design collective.

He is the founder and lead organizer of Pikeview Arts District and the Southwest Denver Artist Open Studios, which he started because he was tired of driving across town for art openings when he knew so many great artists in his own neighborhood.

Whimsical and functional, Megan Ryall’s ceramic work brings warmth and joy to everyday moments. Her clay creations are infused with texture and play—each one crafted with intention and delight.

Megan is also working on a participatory project called the "Permanent Post-It Wall," where visitors are invited to share one action item from their most important to-do list. Each handwritten note is being carefully recreated in porcelain—a lasting collection of everyday hopes for the future.

🎨 Meet Rebecca Rozales!

Rebecca Rozales is a Denver-born Chicana artist whose vibrant paintings, sculptures, and mixed-media works celebrate the richness of Chicano culture and heritage. With a career spanning over 25 years, Rozales has developed a distinctive style that blends traditional motifs with contemporary themes, exploring narratives of identity, community, and resilience.

A graduate of Metropolitan State University of Denver with a BFA in Painting and Drawing, Rozales further honed her artistic skills through residencies in Mexico City. Her work has been showcased in numerous exhibitions, including the "Healing Through the Arts" exhibit at Chac Gallery-Denver, where she explored themes of generational healing and forgiveness.

In 2022, she co-founded Art Contained Del Sol, a unique gallery and studio space constructed from repurposed shipping containers, aimed at providing affordable creative spaces for artists in Denver.

Rozales is also an active member of the Chicano Humanities and Arts Council (CHAC), where she serves on the board and contributes to curating exhibitions that highlight Chicano and Latino artists.

🎨 Meet Sangeeta Reddy!

Sangeeta Reddy is a Denver-based multidisciplinary artist whose vibrant abstract landscapes and mixed media works explore the intersection of personal history, spiritual inquiry, and the natural world. Born in Hyderabad, India, Reddy migrated to the United States in 1978 and has since developed a practice that bridges Eastern and Western artistic traditions.
