Happy Friday, everybody!!! Just a quick post that I will be setting up a booth with 11"×17" and 4"×6" prints available of my artwork tomorrow, Saturday May 16th at the Highlands Ranch Senior Center, 200 E Highlands Ranch Parkway!!! Their Spring Arts & Crafts Show will run from 9am - 3pm, so if you find yourselves in that neck of the woods please hit me up!!!

FINALLY broke my mental block... by starting a new project!!! About 3 hours in, got the bones of it set, so not a bad way of killing time between runs at work!!! Work on the tunnel painting will resume soon, hopefully, but decided a new animal portrait might be more fun for the time being!! Love you all for your ongoing encouragement, and I'll continue to post updates as they come!!!

Morning, everyone!!! Not an art show, but I will be here at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds Exhibit Halls (6th Ave. and Indiana) helping my mom, Elaine, with her booth of Crafts by Carolyn & Elaine at the 2026 Denver Gem and Mineral Guild Show!!! We'll be here 10am - 5pm today both today and tomorrow (Saturday and Sunday), so if you're out and about on the Westside of town please come check us out!!!

For context, my mom and my family have been working with gems and semi-precious stones for over 30 years, and I would NEVER have been able to get my art business off the ground without her help!!!

Back at it!!! After several months having to be on the back-burner, made some progress on the underpainting of the tunnel ride. I know it looks messy, but it's something to build the rest of the layers on as I expand and practice!! Will continue to post progress as it comes, hopefully sooner than later, and keep an eye out for posts of the art shows and markets where I get to set up!!!

See you all around in 2026!!!

FINALLY!!! After several months without a newly finished piece, I give you "Tiger Moth, at Rest," an acrylic portrait I've been working on during my down time in the dock at work between driving truck routes!!! At only 5"×7," it's one of my smaller pieces, but I'm no less proud of this little critter than I am of any/all of my larger pieces!!! The original piece will be available for purchase in 2026 at the start of show season!!! Also, prints will be available starting in 2026 in a couple different sizes, including 4"×6" postcards and a few 8.5"×11" larger prints!!!

I'd also like to thank everyone who came out to the Holiday Craft Market at Adams County Fairgrounds last Saturday!!! It was a bit of a rough show, but things are what they are and we're all dealing with the economic downturns as best we can. You guys all keep me wanting to do this, so I just wanted to say "thank you!"

And, as always, a HUGE thank you to my mom, Elaine, who had her Crafts by Carolyn & Elaine booth next to me the whole day! I wouldn't be able to keep this up without you!!!

Morning, everyone!! Next event will be this coming Saturday, November 15th, 2025, 9am - 3pm at Arapahoe Community College's Fall Art & Craft Market!!! There will be 11"×17" prints of all of my paintings available at this show, along with the full range of 4"×6" postcard prints, too!! Also, as almost-always, I will be set up alongide my mom, who will be there with Crafts by Carolyn & Elaines specializing in wire-wrapped polished stone jewelry!!! If you're out and about on Saturday, please pull up at this show and I'll see you there!!!

Little more progress today!!! Painting in the garage at work may have its limitations, but that didn't stop the first round of undercoat for the body of this little beastie!!! More updates to come!!
