🚢 DAY 1- June 1st, Embarkation Day, Part 3, Show, Dinner, Drinks!
A three part post to just one (pretty much a half) day on the ship? YES, because embarkation day is not just a transition day on vacation, it is diving into the deep end of the magic! ✨
🎭Disney Cruise Line has some amazing evening shows preformed opposite of your assigned dining time. If you have 5:45 dining, you will see the 8 p.m. show, if you have 8:15 dining, you will see the 6:30 show...which we did!! Seas the Adventure is a show filled with the Disney characters and music you love and a great way to start your cruise. I didn't get any pictures because, quite honestly, I just wanted to enjoy the show :)
🍽 After the show it was time for dinnner! There are 3 main restaurants on board, 1923, Worlds of Marvel and Arendelle. Each night you will rotate restaurants, and sometimes have repeats, but your serving team travels with you each night. They get to know you all, your preferences and offer menu recommendations.
We headed to 1923 and had a delicious meal, which of course, is not complete with out dessert.
🌌 After dinner, we headed to the Hyperspace Lounge, a Star Wars themed bar where it actually feels like you are traveling through the galaxy. Through the "windows" you can see familiar planets like Mustafar, Tattoine and the moon of Endor...and I definitely spied the Razor Crest sailing by us at one point. While the cocktails were delightful, the highlight was the apperance of the BDX droid who greated all the guests. 🤖
Day 1 was officially done and we were off to sleep. I love the beds on Disney Cruise Line ships, they are so comfortable!
Day 2 recap coming up soon, stay tuned! 😍
