MISSION STATEMENT
COLORADO IS REALLY RACIST & COLORIST LIKE IF YOU AGREE! exists to create open, unapologetic conversations about racism, colorism, social exclusion, performative allyship, cultural division, and systemic inequality experienced by people throughout Colorado and beyond.
This platform is dedicated to exposing uncomfortable truths through dialogue, lived experiences, community testimony, historical analysis, satire, media critique, and public accountability. Our goal is not division for the sake of chaos — our goal is awareness, transparency, and meaningful conversation surrounding issues many people feel pressured to stay silent about.
Research from multiple scholarly and institutional sources has documented the long-term effects of racism, colorism, and systemic bias in employment, housing, education, criminal justice, healthcare, media representation, and interpersonal treatment patterns across the United States.
According to the American Psychological Association (APA), racial discrimination has measurable psychological and socioeconomic effects on marginalized communities, contributing to chronic stress, trauma, and unequal opportunities.
Studies published through Harvard University, Stanford University, and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) have also explored how colorism — discrimination based on skin tone within and across racial groups — impacts employment opportunities, sentencing outcomes, dating preferences, media visibility, income levels, and social mobility.
The Equal Justice Initiative, Pew Research Center, and Brookings Institution have further documented how structural inequality and historical discrimination continue influencing modern social outcomes in American institutions and communities.
