Guiding Mountain Dragon & Lion Dance Association is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to sharing the cultural art and sport of Dragon & Lion Dancing. Located in the metro Denver area of Colorado, our team consists of members from the age of 12+ and meets throughout the week for practices. As a non-profit organization, we strive to make Dragon & Lion Dancing financially accessible to all. F

or this reason, we are dedicated to keeping classes 100% FREE to our students. Our goal is to help our members grow to perform at a competitive level, while also teaching them the cultural significance of the art and empowering them to share it with the community. We love to celebrate with people - whether it's Lunar New Year, weddings, grand openings, school events, birthdays, or just because. Please reach out to us for details and pricing on booking a show. Two rich cultures, one powerful rhythm! 🥁✨

We had the absolute honor of collaborating with the Hecho en Westwood Danza Mexika Program for the Saigon Azteca Night Market ! Bringing together the thundering drums of Asian tradition and the vibrant, sacred rhythms of Azteca dancing showed the true beauty of our shared community.

At Guiding Mountain, we believe culture connects us all. Thank you to the Saigon Azteca organizers and the incredible Azteca dancers for sharing the stage with us to create a performance Denver won’t soon forget!

The best way to appreciate culture is to get a hands-on feel for it! 🥁🔥🦁

Highlights from our workshop session for the Heritage Camp for Adoptive Families. From teaching the foundational stances to letting the campers beat on the drums, this hands-on training was all about empowerment, identity, and community connection.
