Carlos Barata Music Songs and serenades that shape the spirit and stick to the soul.

I'm a Portuguese-American singer, songwriter, guitarist, performer and Board-Certified Music Therapist - originally from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, now residing in Fort Collins, Colorado. With soulful vocals and accessible songwriting, my intimate and alternative style is something simple, sweet and special that has supported artists like Matt & Kim, Pete Francis of Dispatch, Matt Costa, Langhorne Slim, and more.

The Mish is one of my favorite places/staff/venues/homes/you-name-it in the world and it absolutely fills my cup returning for my 4th summer series. I remember moving here 5 years ago and thinking โ€œhow sick would it be to play hereโ€. This will be the best one yet with ๏ผฃ๏ผก๏ผฒ๏ผฌ๏ผฏ๏ผณ ๏ผ† ๏ผด๏ผจ๏ผฅ ๏ผฃ๏ผฒ๏ผฅ๏ผท - hope to see you up the Poudre this Sunday 2-5pm โค๏ธ

Standing in a river with a ukulele is really grounding. I miss the ocean. We only know about 5% of whatโ€™s down there ๐Ÿคฏ

I suck at finishing songs, let me know if I should finish this one. โค๏ธ
