Help Strengthen the Recreation Experience Across the San Luis Valley🌄

SLV GO! is proposing a $350,000 regional project to develop and implement the San Luis Valley Recreation Signage Framework & Toolkit—and we need your voice!

The project would bring together land managers, local governments, nonprofits, tourism partners, and community stakeholders to create shared approaches to:

🗺️ Wayfinding & visitor information
♿ Accessibility & inclusion
🌎 Stewardship & responsible recreation
🤝 Regional coordination & shared resources

The goal? A more connected, accessible, safe, and welcoming recreation experience for residents and visitors across the San Luis Valley—while still allowing each community and agency to maintain its own identity and signage standards.

Have you experienced the need firsthand?

Maybe you've struggled to find a trailhead, helped a visitor navigate confusing signage, encountered gaps in accessible information, or wished recreation information was more consistent from one community to the next.

Tell us about it! Personal experiences and stories can help demonstrate why this regional effort is needed.
