Sneaky peeks!

I've been wanting to add a fuzzy yarn to my lineup, but it had to be something *I* could wear (no mohair for this sensitive skin), and work with my current bases.

Introducing Suri Sparkle - it's drapey and lofty, shiny and soft. I've loved working with it by itself and held with another yarn.

It'll be making its debute at Boston Fiber Festival Sept. 12&13

It's baby!

I think I set up a more permanent social media spot which hopefully will make it easier to post more often. It's just an old dresser in the unheated front hallway of my old-ass house, but the light is good. It needs some tweaking - maybe a shorter surface and a new backdrop? Though I do love this old-ass wallpaper.

I blocked my Isometric Screenshot! this week (designed by mousearmymittenco ) I modified the pattern slightly to work with one of my 198g fade sets. It's perfect for an on-the-go project, and you end up with a wonderfully squishy shawl.

It's almost time!

One of my business goals this year was to add more vending events and I'm so happy I was able to add Boston Fiber Festival to the list.

A week away Chez Play - we were lucky enough to have time and funds to visit family in last week. I did a lot of relaxing, finished a couple of projects, saw so much nature, and started a new project.

NGL coming back to real life was hard, but I'm back to work this week prepping for fall shows and generally trying my hardest to be a bad-ass grindset bossbabe in oppressive heat and humidity.

An update has occurred!

I planned for this spring rainbow set to go live online right after my spring shows. But I sold out of a bunch of them AT the spring shows, and I finally got everything restocked and photographed :wipes brow:

These are named for native New England plants because I freaking love stopping to look at little flowers when I hike. They're available individually (a couple on my Sparkle Sock base) and in 480yd and 725yd sets.

And I've listed a couple of fraternal colorways that I ended up really liking, but they didn't quite fit in with my plan. Maybe another rainbow is in order for these two?

Hey, y'all! It's been a bit rough Chez Play. We've had a lot of little annoying car and house trouble, and my left shoulder froze up. After a week of rest (including very little knitting or work), I'm easing back into a regular work schedule.

Yesterday, I was able to get some new yarn up in the webshop and update some old faves with new pics and swatches.

There are no words to express how happy I am to be able to move. I am NOT good at sitting still. I am almost always doing something with my hands and not being able to do that while also being in horrible pain sucked.
