One of the things our Executive Director, Mandisa Johnson loves to do with Atlanta Film and TV is getting the opportunity to sit down with filmmakers and learn what goes into bringing their stories to life.

On July 25th, Mandisa had the pleasure of moderating a conversation with Writer/Director Rebecca Casselman Rebecca Casselman and Producer James Casselman about their feature-length film Next to North Pole, and later moderated a conversation during the private screening of T**s Out Tit’s Out Movie , hosted by the filmmakers for family and friends at the Tara Atlanta. If you submit to our showcase, you are expected to complete payment once you submit. Not a day later, not next week. At the time you SUBMIT‼️

Please DO NOT submit if you have no intention of paying the submission fee.

If you were able to locate the submission link, you should also be able to review the submission requirements and complete the payment process.

Submitting does not mean you have secured a spot.

We are putting time, resources, and intentional planning into creating a professional opportunity for talent. That work has value, and we expect that value to be respected.

Going forward, unpaid submissions will not be held. If payment is not received within the stated deadline, the submission will be considered withdrawn.

This is a business. Please treat it accordingly.

If you’re submitting for our Talent Showcase, your submission fee is due at the time you enter. If there’s no payment at the time of submission, your submission WILL NOT be considered.

Early Bird Submissions are $29 until Sunday, September 6.

As the Executive Director of Atlanta Film & TV, I’m excited to bring our Talent Showcase to the creative community. 🎭🎬

After years of covering and supporting Atlanta’s growing film and television industry, I know how important it is for emerging talent to have opportunities to be seen, heard, and connected.

That’s exactly why I created this showcase.
This is more than simply getting on stage. It’s an opportunity for performers to share their talent, build confidence, receive professional feedback, and connect with members of the entertainment community.

Because every great career begins with an opportunity.
And I’m intentional about creating opportunities that can help talent take that next step.

A friendly reminder from Atlanta Film and TV—with love, clarity. ❤️

We LOVE helping people navigate the entertainment industry. That’s part of why Atlanta Film and TV exists.
But let’s also be clear:

Our knowledge is a business.
Our time is a business.
Our platform is a business.

When you reach out asking how to get your child into film & television, how to navigate the industry, who to connect with, or what your next step should be, you’re asking for professional guidance based on years of experience.

And professional guidance is a service.

The same goes for requests to promote your film, event, business, project, talent, or organization to our audience.

That is a promotional service.

Atlanta Film and TV has spent YEARS building a platform that provides content, connections, visibility, education, access, and opportunities for the entertainment community.

That access has value, which doesn’t entitled folks to that access.

We believe in collaboration. We believe in supporting one another. And we genuinely want to see people succeed.

But, supporting the industry does not mean operating a business for free.
