Pure Love
Love is not part of the brain and hormones;
its roots reach beyond imagination
and what science can fully measure.

It comes from places we cannot see.
Soul, spirit, mind, and heart all might carry it,
but none can fully explain its meaning
or where it begins.

Eternally, not every attraction or captivation is love.
Some feelings and views are only desire.
Real love is a harmony, a deep inner bond
that makes both sides more complete and more whole
in holy unity.

True love needs a clean container to dwell and grow.
A heart filled with ego, pride, and impurity
cannot carry pure love; the vessel
must first be emptied and washed.

Human love can fade,
but the love that is tied to God
remains even when everything else disappears.

God’s love is the measure and core of all love.
Every noble, rising form of love is just a small reflection
of the eternal connection between the servant and his Lord.

I was born long, long ago,
In a frozen time of dusty light.
My blanket stays both short and cold,
The earth beneath is wet and white.

My ceiling shows ten thousand holes,
To welcome ice and mist and breeze.
I breathe through clouds and knolls,
And swim among the winter trees.

My door has neither key nor frame,
Its wood is dark and worn by time.
I hear the wolves, I know their name,
Yet still, this beating heart is mine.

Faint v***r rises, heavy sighs,
Yet hope is held within His hand.
A warmth that shines behind my eyes,
A mercy that grows green in my land.

Since birth, we mirror life and death,
The soul, the mind, the family tree.
We draw a tethered, borrowed breath,
In things we once believed were free.

Locked within a larger grave,
An endless wall, a heavier stone.
We seek the freedom that we crave,
Within a prison not our own.
None are alive but the faithful and brave.
