Handmade Wreath Sash!

I want to take a moment to share a little behind-the-scenes of what goes into the wreath sashes I make.
When you see a sash from Details 4 Beautiful, I want you to know it’s not just a blank sash that was ordered and arrived at my door ready for embroidery.
It starts with:
•Shopping for the fabric – Finding the prints, colors, and patterns.

•Bringing it home – Getting everything ready to turn that fabric into something beautiful.

•Ironing the fabric – Making sure it’s smooth and ready for the next step.

•Cutting the fabric – Measuring and cutting everything to create the sash.

•Sewing the fabric together to create the sash and picking the design, the thread and then embroidery – Bringing the design to life, one stitch at a time.

Every sash takes time, effort, and a whole lot of love. ❤️
From choosing the fabric to the finished product, I’m involved in every step of the process.
So the next time you see a handmade wreath sash from me, I hope you see more than just a pretty design. I hope you see the time, creativity, and craftsmanship that goes into making it.

Do you remember the question from last week? The jean legs and pretty yellow ruffle? Here’s what I was making. It took longer for the reveal than I expected because I broke my last needle for my sewing machine and I had to order more and wait for delivery.

There’s a little secret to keep the skirt on the shirt on! Do you see it?
