Okay, here we go. I’m Jess Hellman. The maker behind JH Jewelry. Part of my motto is “made with passion and purpose”. Let’s get into what those mean to me briefly for you to have an understanding of who made your jewelry and why. -My passion has always been expression in the form of art to show the world what I see through my eyes. It fuels me. Showing the world art gives others inspiration. Whether it’s something we do or something we support, it says a lot about us. It’s so powerful. I love stones of all kinds. I’ve been a rock hound since I was a little girl. I love jewelry. I have always worn jewelry since I was young, as well. This is my form of expression to bring those two things together. To bring art into the world. To add beauty to it. To let you see through my eyes. To let YOU express yourself by wearing a piece from me. Isn’t it crazy how much power a single piece of jewelry can hold? I stamp my initials on my jewelry because I believe in these things. They are my truth. Thank you for loving my pieces, too. ❤️
-I always knew I wanted to be my own boss and take care of the home front. Which leads me to my purpose. I love being home to care for my family and my animals. I love to cook. I love to garden. I love to care for my loved ones. Life is too short to not enjoy what you do!!! I literally quit my career to take care of my mother when she needed me. I was able to do that because of my supportive partner. I since then have built this business from the ground up. I am completely self taught, fueled by determination, passion and maybe some choice words. And A LOT of stubbornness. 😂 By supporting me, you support my family, my dreams, my passion and my purpose. This is everything to me. I get to be home to take care of everyone and do what I truly love. Which is make beautiful art to express myself so YOU can express yourself. Handmade, with love. From a tiny home studio, in a small town, on the prairies of North Dakota. Each piece is truly one of a kind. And that to me is way more important than buying something from a big box store, made in a different country, by a machine, that’s going to fall apart eventually.
