It's a wrap, folks! Art for Barks 2026 was a barking success! Thanks to all our vendors and vendors who couldn't be here for their extraordinary amazing donations to our raffle! Barkout to Studmuffins Bakery for their generous donation of all those wonderful muffins and baked goods. A big WOOF, WOOF to our silent auction donors, Wide Angle Fine Art Printing, for the gorgeous Creekside Autumn, Christine Olivo for the beautiful painting of Bannack, MT. Bitter Root Humane Association and The Wings Programs, Inc. for bringing these amazing animals to share with us! Thank you, Deacon Ed for the animal Blessing, Amy from Local Flair, Darby for volunteering free nail clippings and her basket for our raffle! And not to forget our wonderful volunteers, ARF, ARF!! Most of all to all our wonderful patrons who came out to support us! We raised roughly $2000 for the St. Francis fund and one hound dog has found a forever home! Remember to cool your furry buds off and not let them get overheated this summer! I, for one, love to swim and we have plenty of water around for swimming! WOOF, WOOF, lots of love and big slurpy kisses to you all! Until next year,

GUESS WHAT???? I'm so excited!!!! Deacon Ed is going to be at our show Saturday, July 11th from 10-3 in Darby's Main City Park for The Blessing of the Animals! This tradition honors St. Francis, for his profound love of nature and his practice of calling all creatures his brothers and sisters. Deacon Ed will be in the park around 11 in the St. Francis of Assisi, St. Philip Benzi Mission booth. Bring in your furry loved ones and all my pals to get Blessed!
A little history here about the Catholic organization and all they do for our community.
"In 1972, the Bergren family in Darby donated 14 city lots for a Catholic church, and by 1980, St. Philip Benizi Church and Parish Center, a mission parish to St Francis of Assisi, was constructed. This church was dedicated in 1981.
St. Philip Benizi's annual Christmas Bazar provides support for our local community by helping to raise money for community programs including, but not limited to, Darby Brilliant Beginnings, Darby Breadbox, Darby Volunteer Fire Department, & Trapper Creek Job Corps."

Another exciting artist, Susan Penfield, from the Open Studio Group! WOW! This group is incredible! Y'all need to open a gallery!!! WOOF, WOOF!!!
