I’ve had this crochet sweater in my rotation for almost a year… and no, I’m still not over it. ✨

really did something with this pattern—because the Summer Sway Sweater is not just a “make once and forget” situation. She’s on repeat all summer.

Breezy nights? She’s there.
Boat? Toss her on.
Harley rides? Obviously. 🖤

Some makes just earn permanent closet status… this is one of them. Don’t argue with me. 😌🤣

IKYK this level of chaos 🤣😂

In a world where nothing is ever really lost…one crocheter faces the unthinkable…

🧶 The disappearance of her 2.2mm hook.

Not just any hook.✨The $50 hook✨The favorite. The chosen one. The diva.

I searched everywhere…The couch. Under the couch. Inside the couch (yes, we went there). Every bag, pouch, basket, and emotional support tote I own.!Even my hair… because at this point? Anything is possible.

And just like that…poof 💨Gone.

Meanwhile, all the other hooks are just sitting there…UNBOTHERED. Like they didn’t just lose their leader.

At this point I’m not even looking anymore…I’m just waiting for it to reappear in the most obvious place possible…like it didn’t just send me into a full spiral.

It’s supposed to be a calm lounging day before my beautiful 24-year anniversary date night…

But noooo… I picked up my test dress 🧶

Now I’m in a toxic relationship with one row. I’ve frogged it 5-6 times, no joke. Not because I messed up (growth 🤣), but because it keeps switching personalities—too big or too tight, no in-between.

At this point, the dress is testing me. If you crochet, you understand… if not, just know I’m going through it 😩
Send help or snacks 🫶✨…

(Sorry can’t show the work, it’s a test in process. Pattern will be out soon and you will NOT want to miss this one. It’s so Gorgeous and perfect for the summer and those getaways or beach nights)

Currently obsessed with this massive project I'm working on, and I'm so grateful to be working with a designer I’ve admired for awhile! Size 10 thread and a tiny hook is somewhat a test of patience, but it'll be worth it. Can't wait to unveil the final result – no peeking permitted! 🤪 stay tuned !

I have to give credit to the women of my grandmother's generation. In my culture, they would create intricate textiles using size 20 and 30 threads, often relying on diagrams since many lacked formal education. These women were truly remarkable. It’s disheartening to see this art form fade away from the culture.
