Hagerstown, here we come!

Kinship Singers are so excited to perform at St. John's Episcopal on Sunday, October 18, for the first concert in the Music at St. John's 2026-2027 Music Series.

Kinship Singers rehearsals begin Monday, Sept. 14, at 7:30 pm in Damascus. Visit www.kinshipsingers.org to register and see more details about our schedule and plans.

Fall 2026 performances includes Oct 18 "Sounding 1776" concert on the road in Hagerstown, MD, and Nov 22 Neighborhood Thanksgiving Concert in Damascus, MD.

Sing one concert, sing many, or come and rehearse with us for a while to see who we are and what we do.

Kinship Singers includes multiple generations of adults and is expanding to include youth.

+ Networking time to build friendships and encourage collaboration
+ A variety of repertoire and singing styles
+ Musicianship lessons and coaching, grounded in concert repertoire
+ Song interpretation, staging, and movement
+ Solos and other musical leadership opportunities

featuring a collaborative concert with the Kinship Singers and other community arts organizations.

+ Networking time to build friendships and encourage collaboration
+ A variety of repertoire and singing styles
+ Musicianship lessons and coaching
+ Song interpretation, staging, and movement that is shaped collectively by the group
+ Small groups experiences within each session that give everyone relevant experience and customized engagement, including solos and leadership opportunities

Christmas in July One Day Choir was a big hit!! Lots of singing, cookies, wassail, and merry-making with the Kinship Singers and Polly Baldridge

Gratitude for all who came, including Katherine Williams on piano, Jim Buras leading carols on guitar. Let's do this again!

Make plans to join Kinship Singers later this month for some singing and festivities at our Christmas in July One Day Choir.

All ages welcome, and singers under 18, please bring an adult along to participate with you. Sheet music and light refreshments provided. Donations to support Kinship Singers encouraged at the door.

Kinship Singers' "Tasting our Heritage" potluck was a great success - lots of rich flavors and interesting stories from our varied cultures and experiences.

We are in final preparations for the Sounding 1776 concert on June 14, and it was meaningful to carve out time for feasting together!!

Concert is Sunday, June 14, 3 pm at Damascus UM Church, Damascus, MD
