What Survived the Fire…
14” x 18” • Available 🔥

Some seasons of life leave us wondering if anything will remain.

What Survived the Fire… is about what endures after the flames have settled. Beneath the smoke, the silence, and the weight of uncertainty, something refuses to disappear.

Not everything survives the fire.

Only what was real.
Only what you protected.
Only what you believed in enough to fight for.

And sometimes, what’s left behind isn’t broken—it’s stronger than ever.

There’s something satisfying about the final reveal. 🎨

Peeling away the Frog Tape is one of my favorite parts of the process.

It’s the moment where weeks of creativity, color, and a few twists and turns come together with crisp, clean lines.

We are thrilled to have Gary T Murphy, AKA "GTM", as one of our newest board members! Gary is an entrepreneur, a businessman, and an abstract artist with a fascinating life story. Throughout his career, he has always believed strongly in giving back and paying it forward.

Gary was first introduced to our organization when he became involved as one of our artists, creating artwork for our traveling exhibition. Our cause and mission immediately touched his heart, and he is truly grateful that his journey has now led to serving on our Board.

For Gary, art is more than self-expression. It’s how he attempts to help others and how he spreads light. He is generously sharing his light with our by donating 20% of the proceeds from the opening reception of his upcoming exhibition, Up Close: The Art of GTM.

To learn more about this exciting exhibition, check out his page at GTM's Art World where you can also RSVP for the reception on June 18, 2026 from 6–9 PM at Caffvino in Houston: https://gtmsartworld.com/upclose

Today is about remembering and honoring those who served and sacrificed for this country.

My father was part of the Air Force Reserves. My grandfather and uncle served in the military during wartime.

These are two abstract American flags I created over the past year.

The gold line running through the middle of the 2nd piece reminds us that at our core, America is still a great country, built on resilience, character, and the spirit of its people… and even through difficult times, our country will endure.

I’m beyond thrilled to own a second piece of Blakely Bering's beautiful artwork!

From the moment I saw this piece, I was drawn in by the color, energy, and emotion within it.

Knowing the artist personally makes it even more meaningful, but bringing one of her larger works into my home is something I truly cannot put into words.

This piece instantly changes the feeling of the room, and I’m incredibly excited to own it as part of my collection!

THANK YOU Blakely - this piece means the world to me 🥳

I create not just for me... I create for friends, family, collectors, and people I haven’t even met yet.

To me, it’s seeing the joy, excitement, sadness, happiness, and that sparkle in someone’s eye when they experience my art....

Sometimes, it’s simply the energy, aura and feelings of the people around me that fuels me to do what I do.

Creating & Connecting... to me, that’s where real peace, hope, happiness and inner serenity truly live!
