The plumbers rolled up to the jobsite with THIS homemade power station and acted like it was the most normal thing in the world
A 5 gallon bucket, a handful of outlets, mystery wiring, and just enough confidence to scare every electrician within a 50 mile radius
Somebody definitely said ā€œdon’t worry bro, I know what I’m doingā€ right before plugging in the charger.

The plumbers rolled up to the jobsite with THIS homemade power station and acted like it was the most normal thing in the world....,,,,

I was walking past a coffee shop when a sign on the glass stopped me in my tracks: ā€œNO TIPPING = NO SERVICEā€ and ā€œMinimum 20% or we don’t make your order,ā€ and I just stood there for a second thinking… this is before I’ve even seen a menu or said a word to anyone, and I’m already being told what I have to pay on top, and that’s what feels so off about it, because tipping used to be something you chose after the experience, a way to show appreciation if the service was actually good, but this turns it into an upfront requirement, basically an entry fee just to order, and I get the argument about fair wages, I really do, but putting it on a sign like that doesn’t feel like respect for workers, it feels like pressure on customers, and if the real cost is higher then just be honest about it and put it in the price, because this whole setup just changes the tone before you even walk inside....,,,,

Several drivers on Highway 75 last night said they changed lanes after seeing these pipes swaying around in the rain.

A few people claimed the load looked unstable enough that they didn’t want to stay behind it any longer than they had to.

Would you keep driving behind this truck?šŸ‘€šŸ‘€

Client is trying to hold final payment over these deck footings because she says the posts ā€œaren’t centered enoughā€ and claims it looks unsafe. Meanwhile the bracket is fully secured, the load is sitting solid, and the beam is still making full contact where it actually matters...

I explained to her that not every footing has to look perfectly Instagram-level centered to be structurally fine. People online act like if something is off by an inch the whole deck is about to collapse tomorrow...

So I told her I’d post the photo and let the actual builders, contractors, and carpenters weigh in since apparently Facebook inspectors know more than people who do this every day...

According to her, this is ā€œcompletely unacceptable.ā€..
According to me, this thing is going absolutely nowhere.....😔😔😔

To the person who thought it would be hilarious to slap a ā€œYOU PARK LIKE AN IDIOTā€ sticker on my car while I was inside eating… grow up.

Seriously.

I came back outside and found one of those giant childish stickers with the middle finger graphic plastered onto my bumper like we’re all still in high school.

And before people start saying ā€œit’s just a jokeā€ — no.
You do NOT get to walk up to someone else’s vehicle and stick things on it because you didn’t like how they parked.

That’s not funny.
That’s not clever.
That’s vandalism.

I honestly don’t care if you thought my parking was bad, crooked, too close, or whatever excuse you’ve convinced yourself justifies touching someone else’s property.

Normal adults move on with their day.
They don’t go around decorating strangers’ cars like parking-lot vigilantes.

And yes, I already went back inside to ask about security footage because I absolutely want to know who thought this was such a brilliant idea.

People seriously need to mature.... 😔😔😔😔

ITS ALWAYS THE BIKES!!!

Those yellow lines aren’t a parking spot for ANYTHING.

Cars can’t park there. Trucks can’t park there. But somehow a whole motorcycle just gets to sit right up against the pole like the rules don’t apply??

So now something is sitting in a clearly marked NO PARK zone, in a high-traffic area, and everyone else just has to deal with it.

It’s not even about the space. it’s the principle.

Those lines are there for visibility and safety, not for someone to treat like VIP parking.

And when something happens because it’s sitting where it shouldn’t be, suddenly it’s a problem.

At some point it stops being convenience and starts being people doing whatever they want because nobody says anything.

I already went inside and let management know. There’s no reason that should just be ignored.

If the rules don’t apply to everyone, what’s the point.....??

My husband and I went out to dinner last night and I’m still honestly stuck on what happened at the end of the meal 😭

Our bill was around $70.

We left a $20 tip.
Not to be rude.
Not to ā€œteach a lesson.ā€
Not because the service was bad.

We genuinely thought that was a pretty solid tip.

But when the waiter saw it, he straight up refused to take it and told us if we weren’t willing to tip at least $35, then we ā€œshouldn’t be dining out.ā€

And I’m sorry but… WHAT??

Since when is $20 on a $70 bill considered cheap?? That’s almost 30%.

At what point did tipping go from:
ā€œThanks for the good serviceā€
to
ā€œIf you don’t pay nearly half the bill extra, you’re a bad personā€?? 😭

And before people twist this:
I fully understand servers work hard.
I respect the job.
I know the whole system is flawed and a lot of workers depend on tips.

But situations like this are exactly why people feel burned out by tipping culture now.

Customers feel pressured.
Servers feel underpaid.
And everybody ends up frustrated with each other while restaurants keep benefiting from a system that clearly isn’t working for either side.

Like genuinely…
has tipping culture completely lost the plot now, or am I missing something here...?

To the UPS driver who treated my yard like a public thoroughfare:

Yes, corporate has already heard from me.

There’s a driveway.
There’s a sidewalk.
There’s literally a designated walkway to my front door.

And yet, you decided to cut straight across my lawn because, apparently, your convenience trumps respecting someone else’s property.

I put time, money, and effort into maintaining my yard. Watching someone stomp through it like the rules don’t apply is beyond frustrating.

It’s the entitlement that really gets me.

Some people shrug and say, ā€œIt’s just grass.ā€ That misses the point entirely. The point is basic respect.

If you’re representing a major company in uniform, maybe act like a professional instead of treating private property like a shortcut.

Trust me — this didn’t go unnoticed, and it won’t be ignored.....
