It's been a great day at and we are so excited to meet so many gamers! One of our favorite parts was meeting folks who have already been using the app for their games! We got to do a panel session and the audience made a whole Barbie set! We even made Ken a lute so he could strum his cover songs on the beach. You can find the unlock codes for all the items we made in our discord. (Link in bio)

If you are in Kansas City, we would love to see you tomorrow for the final day and hear about how you use Instant Armory for your games.

We performed a search and rescue today.
Thankfully no D20’s were harmed.
This D20 had gone to a good home.

Newest Calamus update.

Calamus update:

The Calamus beta-testing team has been invaluable, finding bugs, offering opinions, and giving valuable feedback on potential features.

One such feature is the one I'd like to show you this week. I've always touted the Calamus as a "tap to add" interface. Choose a tileset, tap the map to add it, tap again to remove it. Want a big floor tap, tap, tap away.

Well, apparently too much tapping can be a bad thing. =) One of the testers suggested there be a way to drag a big area into place... and so it was!

Now if you select an area tile (such as floors, trees or water) you can tap and hold, and a multidirectional pointer will come up. Drag to another square and the app will automatically add all the tiles in between.

In the picture, I lay down a tile floor, and then pull a stream over it. (The goofy hand icon is just to show the placement of where I tapped.)
