Neither was I a born artist nor did I judiciously practice art at any point of time but for a few pencil sketches I made during my leisure and the extra 1% effort I pulled in to make my Biology records the most talked about in class! But the overwhelming appreciation and motivation I received from my peers and family, made me feel that this might be my cup of tea. For ages I had been contemplating
on the thought of seriously pursuing this little passion of mine and had occasionally made few futile attempts too, until I was blessed with the acquaintance of my mentor, Mrs. She was a connoisseur blessed with profound aesthetic sense and skillfully elicited the best out of me. No sooner did I witness the steady growth of the artist in me experimenting different genres and reaching new horizons, that I decided to establish a platform to share my views and learning experiences encountered in this journey and thereby, reach out to all those passionate about art. This resulted in the creation of ART WORLD, my first blog spot, where in I effortlessly penned down the design protocol of art works, besides expressing my thoughts and feelings about my workmanship. The reception and success of this initiative propelled the launch of a larger interphase in a more structured fashion, to reach out to a massive audience, in the form of NIRALAA – An ode to antiquity! While Art & Crafts is more of a passion, teaching kids is something that I have enjoyed ever since my school days. Nevertheless, this resulted in adding a newer dimension to Niralaa's offerings - Art & Craft classes for kids between the age of 5 and 12 years. I personally love instilling the artistic skill in kids and challenging them to be more creative and wild with their imagination. Trust me the satisfaction and joy of creating your own piece of art is incredible; however even better when you create more such creators!!
