“A Splendidly Refreshing Dallas Chamber Symphony Concert”

Thank you again to everyone who joined us Tuesday night for a truly unforgettable concert! The Dallas Morning News writes it was “splendidly refreshing,” highlighting Anton Nel’s spirited performance of Poulenc’s rarely heard Piano Concerto, alongside Mozart’s Concerto No. 19 and a vivid, dance-like Beethoven Seventh Symphony led by Music Director Richard McKay.
Reviewer Scott Cantrell calls the performance "the freshest, most stylish Beethoven symphony performance I’ve heard in ages," and “a living, breathing — and, yes, dancing — creation.” Anton Nel “dispatched fleet finger work in both concertos with shape as well as aplomb.”
