A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at Moody Performance Hall last night! It was a pleasure to share the music of Strauss, Górecki, and Debussy with you, and we hope you enjoyed Yumiko Endo Schlaffer’s incredible performance.
We aren't slowing down yet! We hope to see you all again at the next Dallas Chamber Symphony concert on Tuesday, May 19th. The program includes Debussy’s evocative Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun, a shimmering portrait of dreamlike beauty. Laurel Gagnon, winner of the 2025 Dallas International Violin Competition, performs Chausson’s Poème. The evening concludes with Brahms’s powerful and moving Symphony No. 4.
