I tried my hand at something completely new for me. If you know me, I don’t do people or anything like that. I did a lesson with for and I’m shocked that it actually looks like me. 🤣 thank you Ohn Mar for making this a relatively easy process! I may have impressed myself. ❤️

The blank page can feel like the hardest part.

Lately, I’ve been reminding myself it doesn’t have to begin perfectly—it just has to begin. A few loose marks, a little color in the background, anything to take away that untouched white space.

Today it turned into tulips 🌷
From different angles, different perspectives—just exploring and letting them unfold.

Nothing fancy—just ink, pink, and green. And somehow, that was more than enough.

There’s something about a limited color palette that just feels like a deep breath 🎨

This piece was inspired by a photo from Luss , Scotland—a place that completely charmed me, even in the rain. Soft tones, quiet streets, and that unmistakable cozy stillness… it’s the kind of place that lingers with you long after you leave.

Painting this made me want to go back and wander those little paths all over again.

Sometimes it’s not about bright colors or perfect weather—it’s about the feeling a place leaves behind 🤍

After a lot of reflection (and a whole lot of painting), I’m so excited to share that my little business has a new name: Solscape Studio ☀️

As I’ve grown—not just as an artist, but as a person—my work has become more than just watercolor. It’s about capturing the feeling of a place, a memory, a moment in someone’s life. It felt like time for a name that could hold all of that.

Sol means sun…that warm, golden light that brings everything to life. But it also feels like soul—and that’s truly at the heart of every piece I create. Each home, recipe, and map I paint carries a story, a memory, a little piece of you.

I also fell in love with the story of Sol, the Nordic goddess who carries the sun across the sky each day—bringing light, warmth, and hope. That idea of carrying light forward feels especially meaningful to me, and so connected to the way I want my art to live in your homes.

While the name has changed, the heart behind my work hasn’t. If anything, it’s only grown brighter. ✨

Thank you for being here, for trusting me with your stories, and for letting me paint pieces of your life.
