The Society of Animal Artists’ ‘Wildlife Wonders’ exhibit is now on display at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum’s Ironwood Gallery. My piece ‘Born Wild’ is hanging out there until June 9th.

This follows Artists for Conservation’s exhibit at the same museum, where my piece ‘Louie’ sold. I’m really going to miss that piece, but he’s going to a great home in Colorado!

Not much free time lately, but fall break this week! Made space for a little art and a lot of natural beauty.

Award in the form of a pangolin sculpture instead of a run-of-the-mill plaque? Yes, please!

Amazing to receive the Pollyanna Pickering Endangered Species Award at the Artists for Conservation Exhibit.

The pangolin sculpture/award was created by an artist’s collective in Zimbabwe, using reclaimed scrap metal, helping to reduce landfill. 10% of the purchase price goes to the Tikki Hywood Foundation, protecting wild pangolins - the most trafficked animal in the world.

The UK-based Pollyanna Pickering Foundation conservation organization raises funds and campaigns for conservation and animal welfare.
