This Jazz Trio was born out of a group of individuals with great ambition and a positive outlook on their musical journey. Coming from varied backgrounds they came together to collaborate on a shared vision. They’ve found great joy and satisfaction in making music and sharing it with fans and people who care to listen. Finding success
in the music industry is anything but easy, but their combined 150 years of musical experience has fueled their creative journey. Their hope is to stay true to their main objective which is to make music they can be proud of. Tommy G: Keyboard A native New Yorker began his 55+ year musical career in the early 60’s as part of a top 40 rock band working the club circuit as well as the upstate New York resort hotels. Continued to perform as accompanist and keyboard player for numerous bands thru the late 80’s working in corporate event/wedding venues. He resumed his musical journey getting into the Jazz/Blues Classic Rock genres where he does both solo and duo work & now as part of the GS Jazz Trio. Dennis Frati : Bass Dennis has played professionally for over 40 years & plays both bass guitar & upright bass, for rock, jazz, pop and classical orchestra music. He is classically trained and schooled, He has recorded with several professional groups in the studio, and has played bass in the casinos with international stars, such as Ray Charles, Andrea Bocelli, Byron Stripling, Jimmy Heath, Michael Feinstein, Jimmy Buffett, Anne Murray, Bobby Vinton, etc. and played in several regional classical orchestras. He now provides the bottom for the GS Jazz Trio
Drummer/Percussionist J.P. Lee began formal drum set instruction at age 12. His teacher told him, “if you want people to hire you, learn to play all types of music.” He has performed with the Gary Lee Orchestra, the Phil Rubin Trio, “Live From Plano” (12 years), singer/songwriter Johnny C. Lately, southern gospel quintet “Men of Psalms”, and “Maddogs” Joe Cocker tribute band. His first musical love is jazz, and he is happy to be home with the GS Jazz Trio.
