The DFW Art Awards has created a platform where the people of the DFW community can come together to promote, inspire, nominate and support local artist they believe should have the opportunity to be recognized for their continued commitment of creativity. Promoting local businesses and talent is important to the vitality and growth of our great city. It gives us much hope we will be able to garne

r the support of you with your presence on this fabulous night. Our event will not only feature the presentation of awards, it will also feature live local entertainment from artist throughout the DFW area. So come out and show art some love! Award Categories:

Arts Education Award: Presented to a noted artist or arts advocate with a track record of contributing to the advancement of arts education. Award for Philanthropy/Supporter in the Arts: Presented to an individual with a demonstrable history of philanthropic giving/supporting to the arts. Lifetime Achievement Award: Presented to an established artist with a lifetime of exemplary artistic accomplishment in his or her field. Dallas Mural of the year Award: Presented to an established artist that has created the best overall mural of the year. Gallery of the Year Award: Presented to an established Gallery who has shown great advocacy for the arts and the artists they support. Art Curator of the year Award: Presented to an established Curator who has executed great not only in the gallery but outside as well. Art Exhibit/show of the year Award: Presented to the art exhibit/show creator who has impressively executed, not only popular, but fundamentally created opportunity and longevity to the arts community. Art Crew of the Year: Presented to an established group/collective/community with exemplary artistic accomplishments in art this year. Graffiti Artist of the Year: Presented to an established artist with exemplary artistic accomplishments in Graffiti this year. Sculpture Award: Presented to an established artist with exemplary artistic accomplishments in sculpting this year. Pop Art Award: Presented to an established artist with exemplary artistic accomplishments in Pop Art this year. Art Design Award: Presented to an established artist with exemplary artistic accomplishments in art design this year. Realism Award:Presented to an established artist with exemplary artistic accomplishments in realism this year. Expressionism Award: Presented to an established artist with exemplary artistic accomplishments in expressionism this year. Abstract Award: Presented to an established artist with exemplary artistic accomplishments in abstract this year. Photography Award: Presented to an established artist with exemplary artistic accomplishments in Photography this year. Artist of the Year Award: Presented to an established artist who has shown to be most exemplary this year.
