Lara and Tony would be the CUTEST pairs skaters💃🏼🕺🏼⛸️ …but Tony only wants hockey🏒🥅 these days. At least he still puts his figure skates on from time to time to see if he’s still got it!! (Grateful for that, at least. 😆)

Lara’s & Tony’s best friend RaeLynn🌻 is BACK after not ice skating for a year!!! This time Rae wants to try figure skates (no more hockey skates) because figure skaters can do some super cool jumps and spins with our toepicks!☺️💁🏼‍♀️⛸️ Rae is also considering joining the synchro team in the fall with Lara & my other student Avery. I’m really looking forward to getting Rae ready for synchro camp in a couple weeks, and of course catching her up on all the skills she needs to be able to do to join a team. You got this, Rae!!! By the end of this summer you’ll be in Basic 5-6 and right where you need to be for !!! 👯‍♀️💞⛸️

Lara is flying through all her skills in Basic 6! She finally got the courage to work on her mohawks since her brother Tony has been working diligently on his. Keep practicing these, Lara, you’re *almost* in Pre-Freeskate!! 💃🏼💫⛸️

Watching Danny O’Shea and Ellie Kam .w perform part of their Team USA Olympic Gold Medal-winning routine at Stars on Ice had all of us mesmerized!!! 🤩💃🏻🕺🏼🥇🥇⛸️ Lara, Tony, my husband and I arrived early to watch Danny & Ellie (and some others) practice/warm up, and then lead a Q & A session with Amber Glenn . The Pairs couple said that Amber gifted them this song to skate to, which is so sweet! (I guess Amber wanted to skate to it, too.) Watching Danny effortlessly lift Ellie up over his head with one arm/hand was truly an out-of-body experience for me. What truly makes my heart happy is watching Danny constantly smiling and putting on a show with Ellie for the audience! They give the people what they want and always deliver!!! 🇺🇸♥️⛸️ ***I DO NOT OWN THE RIGHTS TO THE MUSIC***

Yes, Tony has been putting his figure skates back on from time to time☺️💙⛸️. He FINALLY got his mohawk - BOTH SIDES! My favorite part of this video is hearing Coach Tim Chilcott say “Smart Boy” when Tony switches sides and doesn’t need any correcting or prompting. We are all so proud of you, Tony, for following your heart and for still finding love in wearing figure skates.
