Tash Kouri (they/them) is a snowboard performance artist, dog dad and airbrush bodypainter living in Brooklyn, NY. As a former professional living statue, fire hula hoop dancer and founder of circus-dance-company, The Gyronauts, Tash's unique aesthetic celebrates festival culture, psychedelic glamour and the grotesque maximalism of the Bushwick Glitterati. They enjoy gender-bending, genre-blending, rhinestones, and drama.

Magic of the Beauty Bar and a spandex denim dress, captured by 📸 on genuine analog film.

I had started to airbrush a wavy gay rainbow on my arm before beginning my shift, but had to give up at yellow because the line to get painted was already 4 humans deep. Blasted through customers until 1 am, when there was finally a moment to come up for air, exchange a drink ticket for a margarita, and share a quickie fizzy dance with the photographer amidst a sea of homosexuals.
Ah, Bushwick. Ah, Bundance.
