I am kind of out of control without the love of my life here to help curb my impulses …I made cookies and ATE SO MANY cookies. I feel so very full now. Uncomfortably so.
Side story-why tf can’t I find any spatulas? I’ve been married and building a spatula stash like you wouldn’t believe for approximately 27 years! (He remembers that stuff). Anyway, the load running in the dishwasher must have an astronomically huge number of spatulas in there. Like statistically significant. Follow me for updates.

My friend and I got together tonight and it was so lovely. She brought dinner over because it was agreed that we totally qualify as old enough now and no longer have to go out if we don’t feel like it. We talked about so many things and I enjoyed her so much. She’s an amazing friend and I’m so blessed.
She brought this beautiful and obviously-short-lived gift (because, as we agreed, neither of us could be described as ‘above average’ at making scissor fobs with jewelry findings).
Then we crafted next to each other for a couple of hours. Parallel play, if you will. Talking about random things. It fed my soul and was so fun and I am so glad we just really DID IT! So many times I long for these kind of moments, but life. You all understand the weary life feels these days, don’t you? Do you feel it? ❤️❤️ So grateful for beautiful moments in this empire. Our selfishness and greed has made us so ugly. Good news-you can change any time you want to put work into it. 🤩
