“Heads Will Roll (A-Trak Remix) is OUR FAVORITE SONG and needs to be mixed/executed perfectly. The drop and main chorus are such an important part of the song.”

That was one of the requests Peyton and Sofia shared with me while we were planning their wedding.

And I LOVE that!

Because getting to know your couple isn’t just about choosing songs. It’s about understanding what those songs mean to them and the moments they’ve been dreaming about.

After the bouquet toss and T-shirt toss, it was time to take this celebration to another level! We had been building toward this moment, and when that countdown hit and the beat dropped… WOW! 🔥

The entire dance floor erupted!

But my favorite part? Watching Peyton and Sofia at the end of this video, absolutely having the time of their lives.

THAT is what it’s all about.

There’s preparation, timing, experience, and a whole lot of heart that go into creating moments like these. And when it all comes together, it’s something special.

I say it all the time, every couple has a story. And the more I get to know that story, the more meaningful those moments become.

What a weekend!

Last night in Little Rock, Arkansas, we celebrated Drew and Jennifer, and what an incredible evening it was! To look around and see all the good things God has done through this journey, the love, the hope, the healing, and the restoration, was such a beautiful reminder of His faithfulness. To be surrounded by family and get to share in this new beginning with them was truly a blessing. So many emotions, so much joy, and another beautiful chapter in a story that is still being written.

And now, it’s back to Texas! But first… Buc-ee’s! 😂 Because you can’t pass up a brand-new Buc-ee’s in Benton, Arkansas!

Today, it’s Connor and Maddie’s turn! After months of conversations, planning, and getting to know their story, I get the honor of officiating their ceremony AND DJing their celebration. I can’t wait!

Three weddings. Three beautiful stories. A whole lot of miles, meaningful moments, and memories.

And next weekend? We get to do it all again!

From celebrating love in Houston last night to celebrating a beautiful new beginning in Little Rock today.

What an incredible night with Sophia and Peyton! We had an absolute blast celebrating their story. And now, I’m back on the road for a wedding that’s especially close to my heart.

Today, my brother-in-law Drew is marrying Jennifer.

After walking through loss, grief, pain, and the journey of healing, two people continued moving forward, each on their own journey. And somewhere along the way, God crossed their paths.

What a beautiful reminder that God really can bring beauty from ashes.

When we lost my sister in December, one of the things she wanted for all of us was to LIVE HARD. Keep living. Keep loving. Keep moving forward.

And that’s exactly what we’re doing.

Today isn’t about forgetting yesterday. It’s about honoring the past while embracing the beauty of a new beginning.

Today, we celebrate love, healing, hope, and brighter days ahead. Because even after some of life’s darkest moments, God is still writing beautiful stories.

Every story matters. And every story is still being written.

Every day is a gift. LIVE IT!

My diagnosis doesn’t define me. My feelings don’t define me. My identity is rooted in my faith, my Heavenly Father, and knowing who I am.

Some days are harder than others, but that doesn’t mean we stop living. There’s still so much life to experience and so many moments worth celebrating.

So today, I’m taking my medicine, eating my Buc-ee’s breakfast (because let’s be real, who doesn’t love a Buc-ee’s stop? 😂), and getting back on the road to Houston to celebrate another beautiful wedding.

And that’s something I love about what I get to do. Every wedding is another opportunity to celebrate life, love, relationships, and the stories that bring us together.

Life doesn’t have to be perfect to be meaningful. There’s still so much life to live, love to give, and so many stories yet to be told.

Whatever today holds, don’t forget to LIVE IT. Be present. Embrace the moments. Celebrate the people around you.

Three weddings. Three days. A whole lot of miles!

Houston, Texas, for Sofia and Peyton. Little Rock, Arkansas, for Drew and Jennifer. Then back home to Texas for Connor and Maddie!

It’s going to be a busy weekend, but what makes it so special isn’t just the weddings themselves. It’s the relationships that have been built long before these days arrive.

The conversations, the laughter, the planning, the stories, and the connections along the way.

By the time the wedding day arrives, these aren’t just names on a calendar. They’re people I’ve come to know and care about, and I get the incredible privilege of celebrating one of the most meaningful moments in their lives.

That’s why I love what I do. It’s never just about the event. It’s about the people and their stories.

There was something special about this one.

Karen & Devin, one last private dance at the end of the night to “If” by Bread. A timeless song for two self-proclaimed old souls. ❤️

Knowing a little of their story, their journey, and some of what it took to get to this moment made watching them even more meaningful. You could just see how real the love between them is.

And as a Gen Xer, I’ll admit, this song took me back. Some songs just stay with you. I even got a little emotional watching this one back.

Some songs are timeless.
Some love is too.

Karen and Devin had a vision for their wedding day — they wanted to get married outside.

Then came the rain. ☔️

But instead of changing the dream, everybody adjusted. The coordinators made it happen, the guests grabbed umbrellas, we protected the equipment however we could 😂, and Karen and Devin stood up there smiling through it all.

Nobody complained. Everybody just embraced the moment.

And honestly, that’s what made it so special.

They say rain on your wedding day is good luck. If that’s true, Karen and Devin are off to a pretty great start. ❤️

Some couples just have a way of making the entire day feel special.

Cat and Nick were all about the joy, the atmosphere, the people and simply soaking in every moment. And that feeling carried through the entire night.

Underneath the beautiful flowers & our up lights Arrowwood Weddings + Events , they shared one final dance to Chasing Cars. Just the two of them, ending an incredible day together.

What a beautiful way to end the night and begin the rest of their story.

October is here — and it’s going to be a full one. ❤️

Starting it off back at Arrowwood for Cat & Nick’s wedding, helping with the ceremony, leading their handfasting, playing the music, and then taking the celebration into the reception.

We’ve spent time walking through this day together, and I love seeing all those conversations and details finally become the real moment.

A little rain. A cooler October day. A beautiful, unique setting. And another story I’m honored to be a small part of.
