It's intriguing how there so many FB politicians can provide statistics and financial data about the shortcomings (dare I say GREED and self centered nature) of the U.S government, but do not see the hypocrisy of their positions. However, they debate waaay better than either of the candidates in this election cycle.
(1) What's the solution for immigration? Deport them all? Keep them all out? Okay, so how will we then address the issues associated with that? Closures/bankruptcies of construction companies, warehouses, food processing plants, shortages of road/highway/restaurant/hotel employees...
(2) Economy ANSWER: Let's just employee ALL "Americans"? THAT would lead to a discussion about fair wages, which would THEN lead to another discussion about a VITAL minimum wage increase (that hasn't happened since 2009 to $7.25) THAT'S why the poor and below middle class folks are struggling to survive! Can we have somebody "crunch" THOSE numbers??
(3) Should women have autonomy over their own bodies? Do men have autonomy of their own bodies? To me the answer is quite simple, to both, it's a resounding YES! Yet, we have folks out here debating the issue of abortion. I'm talking about folks on both sides, some may say left or right (I hate this term because it's intent is to creates division by grouping people in one category or the other). I believe that most "Americans" are complex individuals and our thoughts/concerns regarding country do not totally align with one group or other. I am neither PRO-LIFE or PRO-CHOICE, I am PRO-BIBLE and it says "And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep mine ordinances, and do them". Abortion is not a right, but a choice and that should be driven by a foundational belief and faith in GOD (the CREATOR of life!) who has a HIGHER plan for each life. Those who "identify" as PRO-LIFE and just sonogram WITHOUT provision for those NEW LIVES are hypocrites. James 1:27
"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world". Saving the baby means interceding and providing support (spiritual/physical) for the mothers of these (most times) fatherless children.
Finally, gathering all of the stats and numbers you can find, does not mean very much if you are not "seeking" out ways to make a difference in your own circle---and if you are, that's wonderful because at the end of the day (regardless of who becomes the president of this upside down country)...if YOU are managing to put food on your table, clothes on your families backs, go out to dinner, put gas in your vehicle (if you have one), watch your SMART TV, go on vacations, have celebrations and take care of your wonderful pet family members, I can almost guarantee that how you're living and what you're doing in your daily life---will stay the same regardless of the politics that's going on in Washington, DC
So we should just be kind to one another, do what you can for those who are less fortunate and spread the LOVE and GOSPEL of Jesus Christ. If you are someone who thinks you do this WITHOUT Jesus Christ, you are sadly mistaken, and that's probably why you obsessed with the godless nature of politics and government.
