APRIL 5th. Foundation Day, the DFW Play way.

No grand speeches. No spotlight moments.
Just us together, pausing for a bit, and celebrating the people who make it all happen.

Volunteers. The heartbeat. The quiet force. The reason we’ve come this far.

11 years later… still built on people.

The photographs from Arupadai Veedu capture that rare intersection of ancient tradition and modern discipline. It wasn’t just the choreography; it was also the devotion.

These images say it all. They catch the grace, the power, and the quiet intensity.

Boston's KrossRoad Performing Arts ensemble brought a precision to "Kohra" that turned the stage into a living breathing mystery. These images capture that haunting, indelible energy that only happens when a cast is perfectly in sync.

KOHRA
Playwright: Utpal Dutta (Original: Megh)
Adaptation & Direction: Amitabha Lala

The pictures say it all. They are a testament to the high-stakes artistry that happens when we push the boundaries of South Asian theater together.

Willem Dafoe reminded us today on World Theater Day that theater is a 'live connection.' We feel it every time with our rituals, our ensemble, our generational connections, our collective machinery of love and the lingering energy after a show.

Seeing our community engage with the maturity and complexity of the Fest O' Theatre plays as highlighted by Onstage NTX, was the ultimate reward.

We started a conversation that is still resonating. Thank you for being in the room where it happened.

We are deeply honored to share that Onstage NTX has published a comprehensive review of Fest O’ Theatre. To have our entire slate of plays - from the depth of Adhe Adhure to our Mini Theater Series -recognized by one of Dallas’s most respected theatrical voices is a significant milestone for our ensemble.

This review isn't just a critique; it’s a recognition of the shared pulse we’ve worked so hard to build between our local stalwarts and our guest artists from DC and Boston.
