North Texas Performing Arts invites you to the largest Flash Mob ever to grace The Shops of Willow Bend!! We will be performing on Saturday, September 14th at 11:50 a.m. as part of the opening celebration for the 2nd Annual North Texas Performing Arts Celebration Station. The event will showcase fifty non profits who are participating in North Texas Giving Day which is powered by The Communities Foundation of Texas. There will be contests, featured entertainment at 12:30 p.m. , art activities, art demonstrations, and games for all. And it's all free!
Rehearsals will be at The Willow Bend Center of the Arts, 6121 W. Park B216, Plano, Texas 75093. We are seeking dancers/movers ages 7 and up. We would ask that you attend at least three rehearsals. The choreographer will also send a video for you to practice at home. Costume ideas will be discussed in rehearsal, but you will need clothes which give you freedom of movement.
The choreographer is the highly talented NTPA Adjunct Director, Trish Martin, who has a BFA in Musical Theatre from West Texas. She is hip, fun, and super creative! Come kick up your heels, learn some new moves, and get ready to wow the Celebration Station audience!! Trish is a genius at adaptive movement - so we invite all to participate! Sunday, August 18: 4-6 p.m.
Sunday, August 25th: 3-5 p.m.
Wednesday, September 4th: 6-8 p.m.
Sunday, September 8: 6-8 p.m.
Monday, September 9th: 6-8 p.m.
Saturday, September 14th: Call is 10:30 a.m. Perform at 11:50 a.m. in the Grand Court at The Shops of Willow Bend.
