Senator Roland Gutierrez(Dem - San Antonio) has agreed to lend his support to Raja Chaudhry(Dem - TX CD-32). Raja Chaudhry campaign will help the Texas Senator to reach out to the Muslim voters in North Texas. Latinos make the largest number of residents in the 32nd Congressional District, and there is no Latino candidate amongst the contestants for this constituency. Senator Roland Gutierrez is already a favorite amongst Muslim voters. He faces congressman Collin Allred among others in the Democratic Primary elections for US Senate. This is a major boost for both the candidates.

I am Raja Chaudhry.

There are just 3 Muslim members of Congress out of the 535 members in both chambers.

When Congress votes on middle east policy, whose voices get heard?

When the decision is made about who is a terrorist and who is a civilian, whose voices are in the room?

When the decision is made to refer to innocent civilians as “collateral damage”, whose voices are in those rooms?

I am running for US Congress from 32nd Congressional District in Dallas, Texas. It’s an open seat. I have been the resident of this district for almost 40 years. I went to Meadows Middle School, and Lake Highlands High School in this constituency.

I am running so there is another voice in those rooms. They will hear our voice when I win.
