✨ SATURDAY… WE SHOWED UP AND SHOWED OUT! ✨
My heart is FULL! 💛
Saturday’s “Can a Blind Person? Yes, Yes, We Can!” monologue performance and book release was truly a SUCCESS!
I thought 30 chairs would be enough… but they had to start bringing out MORE! 🙌🏾 And despite the rain, people kept coming. The community showed up—and showed OUT in the best way!
And the LADIES?! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Each woman stepped on that stage and delivered her monologue with confidence, authenticity, vulnerability, humor, strength, and POWER. They didn’t just perform the words—they brought the message to life.
Parenting. Confidence. Travel. College. Relationships and friendship. Employment and careers.
They showed what it means to live beyond the assumptions and limitations often placed on people who are blind or visually impaired.
To every woman who trusted my vision and participated in this project: THANK YOU. Y’all DID THAT! ❤️
To everyone who came out, supported, encouraged, purchased a book, took pictures, recorded videos, laughed with us, and celebrated with us—THANK YOU!
I have SO many pictures and videos to go through, so trust me… more is coming! 😂
But one thing I can say right now:
Saturday, the blind and visually impaired community didn’t just show up—we SHOWED OUT!
Good people. Good energy. Good vibes. A beautiful message.
And this is only the beginning for Living Beyond Limits.
Blindness doesn’t mean broken.
We are living, growing, achieving, and breaking barriers.
Can a Blind Person? YES, YES, WE CAN! 💛🙌🏾
