Good morning! I was thinking about what resurrection morning might be like & was enjoying watching the sunrise. I walked to the back of house to get pic! What a beautiful morning as we celebrate the Lord’s glorious resurrection! 🙌🙌🙌 There are ripples in the clouds & I thought about how Christ’s life, death & resurrection caused such an indelible ripple in our world! 🙌 Praying the Holy Spirit speaks to all, especially the lost & wayward. 🙏 I pray you guys have a very blessed Resurrection Day! He is risen! Hallelujah!!! Love you so much! Blessed! 💖🙌🙏✝️💖

Gospel music has always been such an integral part of my life! My sweet Momma served as a church pianist or organist since her middle school days. I have such precious memories of hearing her practice at home, at choir practice & playing for services & cantatas. I also remember watching Billy Graham Crusades as a child with my Mom every time they aired & we always enjoyed hearing the music!

Last Sunday, the Lord prompted me to share a classic George Beverly Shea song made popular on Billy Graham Crusades. “I’d Rather Have Jesus” initially was a poem written by Rhea F. Miller in 1922. Shea’s mother left the poem on the piano in hopes it would change the trajectory of his life. He was so touched by the poem that he composed music for it & his Mom prompted him to share his song at church. People loved it! He eventually turned down a deal with NBC & chose to tour with Billy Graham. God used his song to touch people worldwide! The lyrics are timeless & definitely still relevant in today’s world!

Roaring Lambs started a study on the book of Revelation last Sunday, again so relevant for our current day world events! Get to know the Lord & His Truth so you won’t be deceived by false prophets or teachings. Keep your focus on the only thing that truly matters! Jesus is all we need!

We had a beautiful birthday queen in the house Friday night! I learned her favorite song, “Never My Love” by The Association, real quick on break to play just for her! Marthann, I pray this year is your best yet! 👑🎂🎈💖🎉 She was there with a fun group of ladies from Kelly's Kloset Consignment Boutique! I need to go check out their store in Hurst! Thanks for coming to Nikki’s to celebrate! 💖

Last night was a celebratory night of sorts for a recent major 2-year life journey milestone for me so I decided to get creative in my closet & put together a sassy “Shania Twainish” outfit for the occasion! 😎🎉 I was so glad to see sweet friends - some drove quite a distance to see me & help me celebrate! Thanks so much! Your prayers & support helped make a difference! So grateful! Thanks to Renee for the beautiful flowers! 💖 🙌 (I wish I would have captured more pics…)

I chose a new dish for dinner last night recommended by my friend, Amy (thanks for the tip!) - broiled salmon in lemon basil cream sauce with sauteed veggies! So amazing! You need to try it! 💯🎉💖
