Wild Oak Studio was never just four walls and good light.

It was a dream built with babies on hips, toddlers at my feet, and big kids doing homework in the corner while I edited. It was late nights resetting sets. It was photographers learning, growing, laughing. It was minis and first birthdays and branding sessions and sports portraits and tiny humans who aren’t tiny anymore.

Wild Oak held so many chapters.

This space gave me community. It gave other photographers a place to create. It gave families images they will hold onto forever. And it gave me the confidence to build something even bigger.

Closing this chapter is emotional. But it’s not an ending. It’s an expansion.

Because what Wild Oak represented doesn’t disappear. It evolves.

The heart behind Wild Oak is growing into something new.

The Snap Collective is coming.

A space built for photographers. A platform designed to connect creatives, brands, and clients. A place where talent is seen, supported, and celebrated. Everything I learned inside these studio walls is being poured into building that next step.

Wild Oak will always be part of my story. It built me in ways I can’t fully put into words.

To every photographer who booked the studio.
To every family who trusted me.
To every brand that collaborated.
To every kid who walked in nervous and left confident.

Studio A is back to being a blank slate.

Booking opens tomorrow for the rest of January & February. All Valentine’s sets are in Studio B and I’ll have examples of those here shortly for y’all. The bed in A is still a queen but the bed in B is a full 🫶🏼 thanks for hanging with us. This process has been a roller coaster and very emotional. So we appreciate everyone being here.

We are currently on “Soft Closing” status. This means we will be opening booking month to month. We know this isn’t ideal for everyone - but it is how we have to operate as the landlord secures our space with someone new (it won’t be a studio) - I will open booking for MONDAY and you’ll be able to Book this Wednesday - Feb 27th. Mid February we will release for March if we are still here. Etc.

Studio B has a valentines mantle (see stories) as well as a floral wall, white couch and the standard boho bed set that is not themed. The bed is now a Full and NOT a queen but still pretty!

Studio A will have a bed, couch, posing blocks & stairs as it normally does when not seasonal. There is no longer an LED window in Studio A but there IS one in B.

We will update the website with current images and updated policies. We still are a NO REFUND studio & our rates will not change since all that we did was change the color of the furniture.

We will be changing our reschedule policy as well so please read that before you book.

🌟 ANNOUNCEMENT 🌟

IMPORTANT STUDIO UPDATE

Wild Oak Studio is entering a temporary transition period.

While we finalize new renters, we will be opening limited, short-term bookings for Studio A and Studio B. Any booking that is confirmed will be fully honored. Availability will be released month to month.

Booking opens the week of January 19th. February is now open for booking.

Here’s how the space will work during this time:

Studio B will remain set up for photography sessions as usual.

Studio A will be rented as a completely open, empty space. No furniture, no sets, and no styled props will be provided. Photography renters may still access minimal items stored in the prop room, but the studio itself will remain empty.

Photography rentals are still available at $85/hour.

We will also be offering event rentals in Studio A during this temporary period. Event rentals are flat-rate, paid in full at booking, and include setup time, teardown time, and professional cleaning. Event rentals begin at $850 for a 5-hour minimum, with longer time blocks available.

Please note: event rentals block the studio for the remainder of the day, and photography sessions will not be scheduled after events.

This temporary setup allows us to offer flexibility while responsibly managing the space as we move toward permanent closure once new renters are finalized.

If you are looking for a furnished or styled venue, this may not be the right fit. If you need a clean, open space and are comfortable bringing your own setup, we would love to host you during this window.

As the year comes to a close, we wanted to officially say goodbye for now and thank every single renter who walked through our doors over the last several years.

Wild Oak Studio has been filled with so much creativity, growth, learning, and beautiful work, and none of that happens without you. From first-time renters to familiar faces who felt like family, we are endlessly grateful for the trust you placed in our space and for the art you created here.

This year brought incredible experiences, unforgettable moments, and a community we are truly proud of. Watching photographers build their businesses, capture milestones, and bring their visions to life inside our studio has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey.

As we close this chapter, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a season filled with rest, joy, and inspiration. Thank you for being part of our story and for making Wild Oak Studio what it is.

We are offering WEEKDAY ONLY half hour - dual studio bookings. This is for photographers to do their promo images for advertising ✨

✨ Time will NOT be added to these bookings as they are promos ONLY we do not recommend bringing clients as we will not add time & going past your time on these will result in $10/min over in fees.

✨ Weekends ONLY - Any booked on weekends will be removed from the calendar without notice.

✨ This booking is for renters to move freely between spaces for 30 mins only.

✨ DO NOT BOOK THESE PAST SEPTEMBER 12th or they will be removed from the calendar. These are for bookings now through September 12th only.
