On the third Monday of every month from August through November, the Garland Book Review Club meets at the Granville Arts Center to listen to professional reviewers give exceptional presentations on a different book, introducing new genres, authors, exciting people, and places.

On October 19, the club will host Kathleen Cunningham with a review of "The Way I Was" by Marvin Hamlisch. Each first-time guest is free. Annual membership is $30 (for an entire year). Otherwise, the cost is $10 per session. Paid membership allows the member to attend all sessions.

The Days That Made America Tour brings Lindsay Graham (no, not that Lindsey Graham) to the stage for a live journey through six pivotal moments that helped shape America.

Known for the hit podcasts 'American History Tellers,' 'American Scandal,' and 'History Daily,' Lindsay turns history into compelling stories using the same primary sources behind his shows. Live music from a three-piece band, archival imagery, and theatrical elements help bring each chapter to life.

This isn’t your typical history lecture. It’s a night of storytelling, music, and a closer look at the moments that made America what it is today, for better or worse.
