Too early to give up on Marist Liufau. Year 2 is where a lot of linebackers start to slow the game down mentally. But with the Cowboys bringing in more competition and changing pieces around the defense, this camp feels huge for him. If he flashes consistency, he’ll stick. If not, the writing might actually be on the wall.

If the price is right? Absolutely. Josh Sweat would instantly make this pass rush scarier opposite Micah. A proven double-digit sack guy with playoff experience is exactly the kind of move a contender should consider. The only real question is whether Dallas wants to spend the cap space + draft capital to get it done. ✭

If Kenny Moore is still available, I’d absolutely consider it for Dallas. He’s a proven veteran slot CB, brings toughness, leadership, and playmaking ability something this secondary could still use despite all the young talent.
With guys like DaRon Bland, Cobie Durant, Devin Moore, and Caleb Downs in the mix, adding Kenny Moore would give the Cowboys a reliable veteran presence instead of forcing the rookies to handle everything immediately.
The biggest question is age + cost. He’s not a long-term piece, but for a 1-2 year window? That move makes a lot of sense for a defense trying to compete now.

People are sleeping on DeVonta Smith because he’s been living in the shadow of A. J. Brown, but if Brown is actually moved, Smith instantly becomes one of the biggest fantasy risers in football.
121 targets don’t just disappear. Even if Philly spreads the ball around more, Smith could realistically push into the 150-target range in a more McVay-inspired system. That’s WR1 volume.
And honestly, Sean Mannion’s presence matters more than people think. If the offense borrows concepts from the Rams — motion, condensed formations, crossers, easier releases — that’s PERFECT for Smith’s skill set. He’s already one of the cleanest route runners in the league.
Meanwhile, CeeDee Lamb is still the king of the NFC East WR room, but Smith as WR14 on Underdog could end up looking like a steal by midseason.

WR1 and WR2 are locked in with Dallas Cowboys stars CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens. But right now, Ryan Flournoy looks like the clear favorite to take over the WR3 role heading into 2026.
He already broke out in 2025 with 475 yards and 4 TDs, and multiple reports around OTAs/training camp say the Cowboys view him as the answer at WR3.
Jonathan Mingo still hasn’t shown enough consistency, while KaVontae Turpin is more valuable as a gadget weapon and return specialist.
