Teachers: If you could eliminate ONE task that takes too much time every school day, what would it be?

Mine would be writing the same parent updates over and over.

That’s one of the reasons we created Know My Day, to make parent communication easier, one day at a time.

✨ A new school year means new students, new opportunities, and countless moments that will make a difference in a child’s life.

To every teacher preparing classrooms, lesson plans, and hearts, we’re cheering you on.

Here’s to a year filled with growth, encouragement, and meaningful connections with students and families. 💙

What’s one classroom routine you’re excited to bring back this year?

07/21/2026

Every special education teacher knows this feeling…

A parent asks, “How was their day?”

And you know so much happened, but after a full day of teaching, paperwork, behaviors, therapies, and dismissal… it’s hard to remember every detail.

That’s why we created Know My Day.

Instead of trying to remember everything at the end of the day, staff can document meaningful moments as they happen. Parents receive personalized updates, and everyone stays connected.

Better communication.
Less stress.
Stronger relationships.

Because every child deserves to have their story shared.

❤️ Making parent communication easier, one day at a time.

Have you ever wished there was an easier way to keep parents informed?

To every special education teacher…I see you.

If you’re a special education teacher, you’ve probably lived this…

It’s 3:30.

One student went to speech.

Another went to OT.

One had inclusion.

A parent wants to know how lunch went.

Another wants to know if medication was given.

Someone else asks if their child used the restroom.

You’re trying to remember everything while gathering information from paraprofessionals and therapists before everyone heads home.

I’ve been there.

That’s one of the biggest reasons we created Know My Day, not because teachers needed more to do, but because they deserved a simpler way to communicate with families.

To every special education teacher reading this…

❤️ I see you.

Your work matters more than you know.

Question: What’s the hardest part about parent communication at the end of the school day?

07/19/2026

There was one question that changed everything…

“How was your day?”

For many parents, that’s the first question they ask when their child gets home from school.

But what if your child can’t answer?

During my years as a special education teacher, I had parents share how heartbreaking it was that they couldn’t ask their child about their day. They wanted to know if they smiled, if they enjoyed therapy, if they ate lunch, or if something funny happened on the playground.

At the same time, I found myself scrambling at the end of each day trying to gather information from paraprofessionals, therapists, and support staff so I could give parents the updates they deserved.

That’s when the idea for Know My Day was born.

We didn’t set out to create “just another communication platform.” We wanted to make sure every child had a way to share their story, even when they couldn’t tell it themselves.

That mission still drives everything we do today.

❤️ Every child has a story. Every parent deserves to hear it.

I’d love to know…what’s one communication challenge you’ve experienced as a teacher or parent?

🍎 Teachers, let’s talk!

If you could change ONE thing about communicating with parents, what would it be?

Is it…

⏰ Finding the time?

📱 Getting parents to respond?

📝 Remembering everything that happened during the day?

🤝 Something else?

Tell us in the comments! 👇

We’re always looking for ways to support teachers and strengthen the connection between home and school.
