Last night was a pretty amazing night for Cypress Stage!

We were absolutely thrilled by the turnout for last night’s auditions for Cypress Stage’s inaugural production, Gloria: A Life!

So many talented actors walked through the door, and we were blown away by the energy, enthusiasm, and talent in the room. What an exciting way to begin our very first production!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to audition and shared their talent with us. We can’t wait for what comes next as Gloria: A Life begins its journey to the Cypress Stage!

Cypress Stage will hold auditions for Emily Mann’s Gloria: A Life, a powerful and inspiring play chronicling the life and work of renowned feminist, journalist, and activist Gloria Steinem.

CASTING
Director Deborah Hope is seeking seven women, ages 20–70. Each actor will portray several different roles. There are no male roles in this production.

Auditions are open to non-union actors only. All roles are paid.

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
Please bring a current photo and résumé. Auditions will consist of readings from the script. No prepared monologue is required.
