Class: Bundle Dyed Silk Scarf
Instructor: Jessica Seifert with The Nail and Needle and Grown at 48
Learn about the magic of plants as you use a combination of locally grown fresh and dried flowers and leaves to create a beautifully dyed silk scarf. Participants will briefly learn about mordants, best fabrics for dyeing, what plants to use and how to lay out plants to create a design on fabric. You'll leave with a sample dyed piece on cotton and a 35"x35" dyed Habotai/China silk scarf. Limit to 12 people. Please note any plant allergies on sign-up.

Cut Bank First Friday classes are taught in partnership with Cut Bank Schools Adult Education Program and Cultivate Cut Bank. All participants must be 16 years of age or older and not currently enrolled in Cut Bank High School.
