Wow what a difference a couple days make! That's why I try to enjoy every day to the fullest when I have the chance ! I had everything looking so nice for Linus' going away breakfast on sunday and at least everyone enjoyed it that day !

The whole flower bed behind my garage is toast! A few of my pots broke. I feel bad for my neighbors fence. We currently have no power and no generator. My neighbor was so kind to let me plug in my refrigerator to her generator.

I hope everyone is at least safe! Everything will be OK soon!

Cleaned up my porch this morning… What you think might take 30 minutes took me a few hours! And of course I had a bunch of butterflies visit me today and my phone wasn't charged! Yesterday I bought some blue Fortune Agastache and it it is not even planted yet and currently a handful of bumblebees are buzzing around.

Finally have a bloom on my endless summer hydrangea. And my Rudbeckias are on fire. Also in the process of painting my 10 year-old patio chairs. They need another coat but they look so much better…

Never boring around here. Love the little side entrance by my garage to my garden. Hopefully I get around to stain the little wooden fence soon.

I saw this little visitor from my kitchen window! He decided to hang out for a bit. This cute red admiral enjoyed my alliums and basil. 🦋 I think I need to make some pesto with all the beautiful basil! My new backyard flower bed is coming along. My smoke bush already doubled in size and a few things are busy growing roots hopefully. My transplanted peonies look very sad but hopefully will come back super healthy next year!

Perfect Saturday morning! Planting, weeding and watering all morning… Need to run out to get some soil in a bit. Yummy little refuel meal and now back on the computer editing pictures… I think tonight is another Corndogs baseball game. They really make it fun with all the themes. Last picture is from Christmas in July theme… have a great weekend everyone! Hope you get to do something fun as well… oh and my new hibiscus is finally blooming! Absolutely gorgeous blooms…

My new best friend! Most exciting thing in my yard is the fact that I have at least four frogs! Super excited about that! And of course I bought a frog house and might buy another one for my backyard flower bed.

One bloom in my platter hibiscus opened up today! Every time I water my flowers I am eating some of my cherry tomatoes and added them to my little lunch today! Love my potato vine planter that I planted a couple weeks ago! All my roses are doing well. And my mini quick fire hydrangea is looking gorgeous, so is my huge limelight Incrediball hydrangea and one of my favorite hostas that I don't know the name of.
