Life has been moving at about 900 miles an hour lately. Between tattooing, running a business, family, and a pretty ambitious project I've been building behind the scenes, I'm pretty sure I've crossed over into "high-functioning zombie" territory, and I'm functioning on pure blind instinct at this point!! 🫣😵‍💫😅

The good news? Everything is moving forward. The bad news? Apparently, social media was the first thing sacrificed to the chaos. But I promise I've been working... just not always where you can see it. Hopefully, this will get us all through this period with the least amount of FML!! 🫠🥴🤪

And thank you all for sticking around while I disappear into my art cave from time to time. I appreciate every single one of you more than you know. 🫶🫵

Today is one of those days where the cookouts, lake days, and long weekends need to come with a whole lot of remembering, too.

Memorial Day is for honoring the men and women who gave everything so the rest of us could live free. Not kinda free. Not almost free. FREE free. 🇺🇸❤️

Free to speak our minds. Free to worship how we choose. Free to build something from nothing. Free to disagree out loud. Free to complain about gas prices, bad Wi-Fi, and the neighbor’s weird yard decorations without worrying about the government kicking our door in over it. 😂

And listen, America is not perfect. She has flaws. She has ugly chapters. She has plenty of things we can argue about until everybody needs a snack and a nap. But this country is still the greatest place on earth because we are allowed to argue, grow, fight for better, dream bigger, own our choices, and chase a life our grandparents could only pray for.

That freedom is not accidental. It was paid for. Over and over again. By real people. With real families. With empty chairs left behind.

So while some folks are out here playing footsie with the idea of socialism like history didn’t already leave receipts, today is a good day to remember that freedom is fragile. It has to be protected. It has to be respected. And it should never be treated like some outdated little side dish at the picnic.

As a military family, this one always hits close to home. So today, we’re sending love, respect, and gratitude to the families carrying that folded flag, that empty chair, and that kind of loss most of us can’t fully understand.

Enjoy your day. Hug your people. Eat the burger. Laugh with your family. But don’t forget why we get to do it.

HEALED VERSION: This one is approx. 2.5 years healed, and I am still so happy with how it settled in!! There are a couple of parts I want to touch up, but we'll take care of those when we do his next one in a few weeks!! 🥰

Healed tattoos tell the REAL story, not just the fresh shiny “I just got done bleeding and swelling” versions!! 😂

And as always... Thank you for continuing to trust me with pieces that are not only meant to last a lifetime but also tell your most cherished stories!!! 🫶😇

You have all been so supportive of our Studio and ALL OF OUR ARTISTS!! You really are all just amazing!! So I have no doubt you'll all want to show him some love!! 🥳🤩

From the beginning, we saw something special in Eli. The talent, the drive, his crazy artist brain that also thinks it's funny, which makes beautiful things happen, all of it!! Watching him grow, push himself, and put his work out there has been one of those proud studio momma moments for sure!! 🥲❤️

I am once again asking everyone to ignore my questionable picture-taking skills because, apparently, remembering “before and after” photos is not one of the gifts the Lord gave me!!😂

Also, can we talk about one of the best parts of our new private studio for a second?? PRIVATE means PRIVATE!! Especially for sensitive areas... No looky-loos, no random walk-ins, no extra eyeballs where they do not belong!! 😂😶‍🌫️🤪

Just a comfortable space where women can breathe, relax, and not feel like they’re on display while getting tattooed!!

So yes, my photo-taking skills may still need Jesus... 😂 but our new private studio vibe?? 10/10 😎❤️

This piece was a first for both of us in its own way. I’ve done some smaller faith-based tattoos before, but this was my first time creating a larger piece like this!! 🥹

What stayed with me most wasn’t just the tattoo itself... it was getting to work with a young man who had real conviction, a clear sense of who he is, and no hesitation about what he believes. There’s something really powerful about that!! In a world that gets louder by the day, seeing somebody stand firm in their faith with that kind of quiet confidence is a beautiful thing ❤️

Fresh one off the bench!! 🤩

This one’s got that bold, quiet-confident attitude kind of energy, and I am not mad about it one bit!! 😎

This guy was moving back home, so we had a bit of a time crunch, but we were able to get it done with just 2 days to spare!! Not my FIRST crunch one, and oddly they all seem to be these more 'graphic style' ones that you just have to GET-ER-DONE!! 😂🤣

Happy Easter to everybody... and Happy 28 Minutes Late Easter Post to me 🐣😂

I know I’ve been a little quiet on here lately, so here’s the official explanation: I have not disappeared, I have not quit tattooing, and no, the Easter Bunny did not take me out 🐰💀

I’ve been buried in a big side project, still tattooing like normal, still booked out about six weeks (MY comfort zone), and somewhere in the middle of all that, my social media consistency apparently packed its bags and left the building 🤦‍♀️🔥

So if it looked like I vanished, I didn’t. I’ve just been over here trying to run a studio, build something SERIOUSLY cool (can't wait to share it), and keep up with life without completely losing my mind 😅

Thank y’all for sticking with me while I get back on track and start acting like I know what day it is again 🖤
