Mesa County Fantasy Faire – Guest Housekeeping
With the Faire merely days away, setup is in progress, and those involved are excited and ready to share their craft, goods, and talents with the community. Please review these important housekeeping items before attending:
- Weather: Expect upper 80s to low 90s with wind and high UV. Plan accordingly. Secure hats, cloaks, and displays — gusts may be strong.
- Tickets: If you pre‑purchased tickets on our website, your name will be on the list at the front gate. Please be prepared to show identification.
- Volunteer Check‑In: Volunteers may pick up their tickets as early as 9:30 AM on Friday.
- Weapons: All weapons must be peace‑tied.
- Food & Drink: Outside food and drink are not permitted; plenty of vendors will be on site.
- Re‑Entry: You may exit and return, but you must have an untampered wristband. Lost or damaged wristbands will not be replaced — no exceptions.
- Parking: Parking is free. Signs and attendants will direct you to a parking spot and guide you to the gate. There might be overflow parking available but cost will be at the operator’s discretion.
- ADA Parking: ADA parking is available on property. Enter through the residents’ gate and display a visible placard. Spots are limited.
- Entry Points: All guests will enter through the main gate, except ADA attendees.
- Youth Admission: Admission is free for guests under 12 on Friday only. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
First Aid & Lost and Found: Both are located at the Guild of Compassion Tent.
- Service Animals: Only trained service animals are permitted; comfort animals are not allowed.
- Facilities: Restrooms and hand‑washing stations will be serviced daily.
- Hydration: Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Electrolytes will be available at the Guild of Compassion Tent.
- Photography: Moon Media is our official Faire photographer. If you see them, feel free to show off your creations!
- Veterans will be able to pick up their wristbands from the Veterans Art Center on September 2. Replacement of lost or damaged wristbands will be at the center’s discretion.
