Today we’re celebrating one of the women who helped bring Fleur De Femme to life! 🌸🔥

Eva is currently enjoying some very well-deserved maternity leave and soaking up all those sweet newborn snuggles, but we couldn’t let the day go by without showing our girl some LOVE! 🥹🍼✨

From helping build FDF from the ground up to being such an important part of the heart behind this team, we are so grateful for everything Eva brings to our sisterhood. We hope this next year brings even more love, happiness, beautiful memories, and maybe a little sleep somewhere in there. 😂❤️

While our beautiful co-owner and our driver (her husband) are enjoying maternity leave, Fleur De Femme Dance Team is looking for a reliable, responsible, and charismatic parade driver to keep us rolling this October! ⚜️🔥

If you love Halloween, don’t mind a little parade-day chaos, and want to hang out with a pretty fun group of women, FDF wants YOU! 👻💃

Requirements:
🛻 Must have a pickup truck with an available, open truck bed for equipment
🪪 Must have a valid driver’s license and insurance
📅 Must be available Saturday evening, 10/17, and potentially 10/30, for approximately 4 hours

💰 You will be compensated for your time!

After learning just how empty the food bank’s shelves are, it has been incredible to watch our surrounding communities and local businesses jump into action. This is exactly what happens when people see a need and decide to DO something about it. 👏

Abita Brewery is currently accepting non-perishable food donations from 11 AM–9 PM, so if you’re heading that way, grab a few extra cans, boxes, or pantry staples and bring them along!

🔥 WE SAW A NEED. WE SHOWED UP. ⚜️

Earlier this week, we came across a post from Washington Parish Food Bank sharing that their shelves had gotten so low, they were having to stop accepting new applicants for assistance.

That didn’t sit right with us.

Within 24 HOURS, Fleur De Femme jumped into action. ❤️ Our team pulled together our own money, went shopping, loaded up what we could, and headed to Washington Parish with some of the items they needed most.

Because for us, community isn’t just where we perform. It’s who we show up for. 🫶

And we’re not stopping here!

👀 KEEP AN EYE OUT! We’re already planning an even BIGGER community food drive this fall to help fill the Washington Parish Food Bank AND local Blessing Boxes before the holiday season. We’ll be opening this drive up to the public so our entire community can help us collect even more and make an even greater impact. We’ll be sharing more information as we get closer, including how you, your business, organization, dance team, or krewe can get involved. WE WANT YOU! ❤️‍🔥

The Washington Parish Food Bank has announced that, due to a shortage of food, they are currently unable to accept new applications for assistance.

When one part of our community is struggling, we believe in showing up!! 🔥

We asked our FDF girlies to share their favorite moments from the past year, and somehow every clip tells a little piece of our story. From practices and performances to parades, community events, laughs, wins, and all the moments in between… what a year it’s been. 🥹

What started as a dance team became a sisterhood, a community, and a whole lot of unforgettable memories.
