MoCo Pickup Ball Hockey We play ball hockey in Montgomery County, Maryland at various MoCo Recreation department centers multiple times a week for one low price. Players 16+

MoCo Pickup Ball Hockey is a pickup group that plays co-ed adult ball hockey (also known as floor or dek hockey) in various Montgomery County, Maryland Rec Centers every week for one low price. Adults = 18+

If you have never played before, it is played on foot with a ball and anyone can play. This is a perfect atmosphere for new players as well as those looking to improve their skills. We current

ly play pick-up in three different venues each week. This is one of the best deals available for how much opportunity there is to play and it ties into any other MoCo Rec activity. Saturday: Pending County action to help our program, Saturday night hockey has been temporarily suspended. I will update this post once a resolution has been reached. COST TO PLAY: In order to play hockey at the Montgomery County REC centers delineated above, you have to be a member of Montgomery County Rec. Membership rates remain phenomenal and purchasing a center pass provides you the opportunity to not only play hockey at all of our centers, but to play ANY open sport at the rec centers PLUS use of the weight room/exercise room and the game room. UPDATE: November 17th

1. Our program continues to feature hockey 2x a week. Mondays at Gwendolyn Coffield Community Center and Wednesdays at the Wheaton Rec Center. 6:30-8:40pm.

2. Equipment is available for you to borrow while playing at our centers, including goalie gear for those who want to try out the position.

3. Membership is FREE for Montgomery County Residents. For non-residents, it is $20.00 a month or $80 for 1/2 a year or $150.00 a year.

5. Note that we will be having a special pickup opportunity for those who want to play after Thanksgiving. On Friday, November 28th, we will be playing at the Rockville Sportsplex from 11am-1:30pm. The cost to play is $10.00 per player. I will send out the registration link once I receive it.

6. If you would like to play competitive co-ed adult floor hockey, please PM me and I will provide you with more information and answer any questions you may have.
