Shiawassee County Fair

Shiawassee County Fair The official Facebook fan page for the Shiawassee County Fair.

The first Shiawassee County Fair on record was held in 1850; it was the beginning of what has become a great tradition. The format has changed over the years; some years were missed due to the economy, some due to war, but it is truly an important part of the lives of many Shiawassee County residents. The fairgrounds on Hibbard Road just outside of Corunna was first used in 1988 and has grown into

a beautiful facility housing activities that begin in April and continue into October, including horse shows, craft fairs, auctions, and a variety of other entertaining events.

On behalf of the Shiawassee County Fair, THANK YOU! Thank you to our guests who came through the gates, our exhibitors who showed up early and stayed late, our sponsors who make this fair possible, our volunteers who gave their time without being asked twice, our staff who work hard to make this the best fairgrounds in the state, and our entire community who continues to show up for this fair year after year.

This fair belongs to Shiawassee County, and every one of you is the reason it works. We're grateful for your support, your participation and your investment in something bigger than any one of us.

Mark your calendars now: August 8-14, 2027, we'll be celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Shiawassee County Fair at 2900 Hibbard Rd. Forty years dosen't happen without a community that keeps choosing to show up -- and we intend to make this one worth showing up for.

Thank you for another great year! Hopefully we will see you at one of the non-fair events happening on our fairgrounds, if not we'll see you next August!
